Two of Aretha's great albums from 1969-1970 get a much needed 'facelift' on this exclusive CD. 'Soul '69' & 'Spirit In The Dark' is music for grown folks, and the music on this collection presents Aretha sangin' her tail off on these blues inspired tracks. (She was also going through a break up during this period, and the raw emotion comes through in the songs.)
